I didn’t think I’d put smoothie recipes on this blog because, well, it’s best just to make them up with whatever’s to hand. It’s hard to go wrong, as long as you avoid beansprouts.
However, this one was great, and I want it on record. It was a combination of a few ideas I’d come across online. A while back, I’d bought a box of chopped, frozen avocado, as it was on offer, but hadn’t got around to doing anything with it. This smoothie was the answer.
- A few pieces of frozen mango
- A few pieces of frozen avocado
- 1 frozen banana
- 300–500ml Alpro coconut milk
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- Pinch of salt
- Squirt of date syrup
- Some frozen spinach (it won’t taste, but is good for you, so why not?)
